The American Red Cross is a premier organization well known for its humanitarian and relief activities. It also provides a highly recognized, low cost CNA training program for aspiring CNA students. There are some minimum requirements put down by the Red Cross for all its nursing assistant students. All the students need to undergo a medical checkup and clear it. If a student is found to have TB, the fees are refunded. But the thirty five dollars that constitute the screening fee are not refunded. Pregnant students can not register in to this course. None of the students must carry any kind of communicable diseases. All the students must be a minimum eighteen years of age or above.
There are also certain ground rules to be followed by all the students. All the students are required to pass the final examinations with an aggregate score of minimum eighty percent. It is mandatory to attend all the classes and it is compulsory for all the students to make up for the lost hours. Punctuality is a must and the students must arrange for their own transportation. All students must wear comfortable and loose clothing during clinical sessions.
